Another week has flown by... Now my parents and brother left me alone at home a little, so I could rest and recover from it *wry* . It was quite eventful. Indeed, med school is proving to have tripled in difficulty the last few months. I had surprisingly low grades in neuroanatomy and had to pull the handbrakes on my life for a big while... studying, studying, studying, reading whole books instead of the usual few chapters they tell us to read. They're still pulled down, mind you, but now I've got a few minutes of breathing space... Enough for me to work on the myriad other things I must do.
The first one is the release of the two new demos of my MYST fan-game project, Ilathid (www.agesofilathid.com), an alpha and a beta verison. The alpha is all very good and nice, having only a few tchnical problems left, nothing vital... I'm itching to release it to the testing team. The beta ius another story entirely. The Age, although, modelled, rendered, animated and soundtracked is being polished to an extreme degree. Re-renders and re-anims are flying everywhere, discounting the occasional technical/compatibility problem.
I'm organizing a few scientific/academic events as well. It's being IMMENSELY hard to get money to finance them, and a few dumb people are creating new expenses from thin air... ARGH. It really activates my killing instincts at times.
The problem is of course there is so much to do, and so little time... and exams are a BIG barrier looming around all the time, it's incredibly insane. |

So this is it: I finally got around to opening a blog for myself; Some people say it's a form of therapy; some say it's the newest medium of global communication and the future of interactivity. Some might say I only opened it because of the magazine feature I saw on blogs today and amonre's new shiny page... don't know really.
Well, actually it's near 3 AM here and my brain is caffeinated so I don't know whether this will last.
I registered my blog at mystblogs.com so you can expect to talk about that game whose name I forgot ( :-P ) every once in a while. ;) |
